In addition to our core leadership team, we partner with geotechnical, environmental, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to provide the full suite of engineering services required to deliver the most complex waste management projects.

Curtis Jung, P.Eng.

Principal Engineer

Curtis is an Environmental Engineer with over a decade of experience in solid waste management planning and multidisciplinary infrastructure design and construction projects. He has acted as design lead and project manager on solid waste infrastructure projects including landfill expansion and closures, transfer stations, organics processing facilities and has acted as technical lead on waste-to-energy, organics management, and landfill feasibility and planning studies.

Curtis has played a key role on some of the largest transfer station projects in BC most recently acting as the project manager for the Central Surrey Recycling and Waste Centre which opened in 2022.

Curtis recently led a study on waste-to-energy approaches for the federal government (Environment and Climate Change Canada) and has been invited to present at the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA) conferences on a range of topics including solid waste financial modelling, transfer station design, and waste-to-energy.

When he isn’t talking trash, you can find Curtis outside running long distances and exploring new business ideas.

Warren Pare, C.E.T.

CADD Services Lead

Warren is a Civil Designer and CAD / BIM Coordinator with over 20 years of experience in design and drafting using Civil 3D, Map 3D, ArcGIS, and various other design and modelling software. His areas of expertise include BIM coordination, geomatics, land development, transportation, topographic mapping, site surveys, global positioning, and earthworks analysis. He has been the lead CAD designer on hundreds solid waste landfill, transfer station, and compost facility design projects across Canada.

Soledad Ronco

Partner, Environmental Engineer

Soledad is an Environmental Engineer, with extensive experience in contaminated sites, hazardous materials management, regulatory oversight for water resource management, and environmental permitting for large resource projects. When not behind a desk, Soledad works as a general contractor, and will be found on site, not just as a project manager, but often also holding tools. She also comes from a background in graphic design and marketing, and has spent decades honing different communication skills.

In addition to her many marketable skills, Soledad can be found training for her black belt in kickboxing, puttering around the garden, or chasing her children and dogs down mountains on snow or bikes.

Humphrey Chou, EIT

Waste Management Engineer-in-Training

Humphrey has a Chemical & Biological Engineering degree with experience in environmental consulting, waste management, and cleantech projects. As Engineering Lead at a cleantech startup, he led the design of multiple custom lab equipment systems involving mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering, and contributed to large-scale waste diversion projects and waste management assessments for industrial facilities. He has expertise in GHG verification and regulatory compliance, with experience in stakeholder engagement across Western Canada. He previously developed project management tools adopted company-wide and has managed complex verification projects involving multiple regulatory deadlines.

When not working on environmental projects, Humphrey can be found playing violin/flute/drums, swing dancing, and climbing trees.
